Pinterest Carousel Downloader: Save Every Slide, Not Just the One on Screen

Written and maintained by the SaverPin team · Last updated September 25, 2026

Save every image in a swipeable Pinterest carousel from one link, at the resolution Pinterest stores it. Download a single slide or the whole set, without swiping and screenshotting each one.

Works with direct Pinterest Pin links and pin.it short links. Open the individual carousel Pin before copying its link for the best result.

Download Pinterest Carousel Pins Online

Our Pinterest carousel downloader saves every image in a swipeable carousel Pin from one link, not just the slide that happens to be on screen. Paste the Pin URL, and the tool lists the image from each slide so you can download one or all of them.

A Pinterest carousel holds 2 to 5 images inside a single Pin. The tool requests the image files Pinterest stores for each slide, so you get the full-size originals instead of the preview in the feed.

It works in any browser on a phone, tablet, or computer, with no account and no app.

How to Download a Pinterest Carousel

You need the link to the carousel Pin and a browser.

  1. 1

    Open the carousel Pin

Open the swipeable carousel Pin you want to save, on the Pinterest app or website.

  2. 2

    Copy the link

Tap the share icon (or the three-dot menu) and choose Copy Link.

  3. 3

Paste it into the box above

Paste the link into the box at the top of this page.

  4. 4

    Let it find every slide

Wait a few seconds while the tool reads the Pin and lists the images from every slide.

  5. 5

    Download one slide or all

Tap a single slide to save it, or use Download all to save the whole set.

1. Open the Carousel Pin

Carousel Pins show small dots under the image and let you swipe sideways between slides. Open the Pin itself rather than the board it sits on.

2. Copy the Pin Link

Tap the share icon and choose Copy link. It does not matter which slide is showing when you copy; the link points to the whole carousel.

3. Paste the Link Above

Paste the link into the input box at the top of this page and start the download.

4. Review the Slides

The tool reads the public Pin page and lists the images it finds across the carousel's slides, largest versions first.

5. Download One Slide or the Whole Set

Tap a slide to save just that image, or use Download all to save every listed file, one after another. Your browser may ask once whether to allow multiple downloads from this site.

Why Does Pinterest Only Save One Slide of a Carousel?

Because every save option Pinterest and your browser give you works on what is visible, not on the whole set. The Pinterest Save button adds the Pin to a board and puts no file on your device. Right-click Save Image, or a long-press on mobile, saves only the slide currently on screen, usually as a resized preview. To get all the slides, you would have to swipe to each one and save or screenshot it separately.

What Right-Click Save Actually Grabs

Your browser saves the image element it is showing: the current slide, at whatever size Pinterest's CDN delivered for the feed. The other slides are not loaded as that element, so they are not saved.

Why Screenshots Fall Short

A screenshot captures one slide at your screen's resolution, with the carousel dots and buttons around it. Repeating that for every slide is slow and never gives you the original image files.

What Our Carousel Downloader Does Differently

The tool reads the Pin's page data, where Pinterest describes every slide in the carousel, and lists the image files for all of them at once. You do not need to swipe through the carousel first, and you are not limited to the slide that was showing.

Images arrive exactly as Pinterest stores them, in JPG, PNG, or WebP. We do not resize, re-compress, or watermark them.

What Is a Pinterest Carousel Pin?

A carousel Pin combines 2 to 5 images in one Pin that people swipe through, according to Pinterest's Business help center. All the images in a carousel share the same aspect ratio, and each slide can have its own title, description, and destination link.

Images Only in Standard Carousels

Standard carousels use static images only. Pinterest reserves video in carousels for its dynamic carousel ad format. This tool is built for image slides.

Carousels vs Multi-Image Slideshow Pins

Not every Pin with several pictures is a carousel. When you add multiple images to a regular Pin, Pinterest can turn them into a slideshow video instead of swipeable slides. Those Pins download as one MP4, which the video downloader on our homepage handles, rather than as separate images.

Organic and Promoted Carousels

Businesses create carousels in Pinterest's ad tools, and they can appear in the feed as regular or promoted Pins. As long as the carousel Pin is public, its link works here.

What Pinterest Links Does Our Carousel Downloader Support?

Use the link to the individual carousel Pin.

Direct Pin Links and pin.it Links

A pinterest.com/pin/ URL and a short pin.it link both work. The tool follows pin.it links to the full Pin automatically.

Links That Are Not Supported

These URLs do not point to one carousel:

  • Board and profile URLs.
  • Search and Explore URLs.
  • Landing pages that a carousel slide links out to; use the Pin's own link instead.
  • Private Pins, secret boards, and incomplete URLs.

Download Pinterest Carousels on Any Device

The downloader runs in your browser. The steps are the same on every device; only the download location differs.

Android

Copy the Pin link from the Pinterest app, paste it here in your browser, and download the slides. They save to your Downloads folder, and most gallery apps pick them up.

iPhone and iPad

Paste the link here in Safari and download. Images save to the Downloads folder in Files; use the share icon's Save Image option to move them into Photos.

Windows and Mac

Copy the Pin URL from the address bar, paste it here, and download. The first time you use Download all, your browser may ask you to allow multiple downloads.

What Kind of Pinterest Content Can You Download Here?

This page is tuned for carousel slides and still images. Other Pin types have their own tools:

Pinterest contentBest tool
Carousel Pins with 2 to 5 imagesThis carousel downloader
Single-image PinsThis tool works, or the Pinterest Image Downloader
Idea Pins and story PinsThe Pinterest Story Downloader
Multi-image slideshow Pins and video PinsThe Pinterest Video Downloader on our homepage
Animated GIF PinsThe Pinterest GIF Downloader

If the Pin you paste has no carousel or image media, the tool says so and shows what it did find, so you can still download it.

Why Isn't My Pinterest Carousel Downloading?

Most problems come from the link, the type of Pin, or the browser.

Only One Image Appeared

The Pin may be a regular single-image Pin, or a multi-image Pin that Pinterest published as a slideshow video. Check whether the Pin has swipeable dots. A slideshow downloads as one MP4 from the video downloader on our homepage.

Download All Only Saved One Image

Your browser probably blocked the extra downloads. Allow multiple downloads when prompted, or look for a blocked-download icon in the address bar, then try again. You can also save each slide individually.

You Copied a Board or Landing-Page Link

Open the carousel Pin itself and copy its link from the share menu, not the website a slide links to.

The Pin Is Private or Removed

Private and deleted Pins are not publicly reachable, so the tool cannot access them.

Where Are Downloaded Carousel Images Saved?

Your browser decides. On Android, check your browser's download list or the Downloads folder. On iPhone and iPad, check Files, then Downloads. On Windows and Mac, open the Downloads folder in File Explorer or Finder, unless you have set a different location. Each slide saves as its own image file.

Do You Need Pinterest to Download a Carousel?

No account and no app are needed, only the link to a public Pin. You never sign in, and we never ask for a Pinterest account, email address, or password.

Is Pinterest Carousel Downloader Safe?

The tool only needs the Pin link.

No Password, No Extension

We never ask for your Pinterest password, and nothing is installed on your device.

Are Downloaded Images Stored on Our Servers?

No. Our server requests the public Pin page just long enough to find its images. Each file is fetched from Pinterest's CDN when you download it and streamed straight to your device. We do not keep your download history.

What Information Does the Website Collect?

Your light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, timestamp, error traces) for security and debugging; they rotate automatically and are not used for profiling or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is It Legal to Download Pinterest Carousels?

Downloading a carousel and having permission to reuse it are separate questions. Carousels are usually made by brands and creators who own the images, often product photos, and a public Pin does not give everyone the right to republish them.

Saving for Reference

Keeping slides for your own reference, such as comparing products, saving a step-by-step guide, or backing up a carousel you made yourself, is different from publishing someone else's images.

Reposting and Commercial Use

Before you repost carousel images or use them in your own shop, ads, or website, get permission from the brand or creator.
